1 . Confuse activity with productivity.
During your productive hours no email,
surfing the web, small talk, taking phone
calls that are not business related…there
are many more time wasters.
2. Over manage the people you bring into the business.
Help them…point them, never drag them to success!
3. Too many details on your product or service.
People want to know can I do this, and can you
help me.
4. Being the expert.
If you are, your team will wait
to become that expert too before they begin.
5. Get attached to your teammates success.
You can help them (if coachable), but you
cannot make them do the work.
1. Lead by example.
Be in the game yourself, building your business
with the same tools you give your teammates.
2. Be there for your teammates.
Not just lip service, too many say they will be
there, but once they get someone in, they leave
them like a fish out of water gasping for air!
3. Connect with people.
Treat people like people not just numbers.
4. Give people room to grow.
Don’t smoother them, everyone learns
at a different pace. Some are more afraid
than others…give them time to bloom!
5. Have a duplicatable system that anyone
can do.
You may do video’s, write articles and great
notes…not everyone wants to do that, so
make sure you have something for them to
be successful with.
