A beautiful butterfly comes out of it’s

cocoon, let’s its wings dry and flies.

It doesn’t have a choice, it can’t fold its

wings up and go back to the comfortable

cocoon for safety.

It must come out and fly.

Now the butterfly doesn’t have a choice

but you do!

The next time you are feeling stretched

and uncomfortable pat yourself on the back,

because you are growing.

If you are not stretching and feeling

uncomfortable then you are not getting

out of your cocoon.

As you are growing it is critical that you

do not judge, criticize or compare yourself

to others.

If you do, you will feel stuck and focus on

the pain of stretching, and want to go

back to your cocoon.

Treat yourself with the compassion you

would show a child that is learning to ride

a bike without training wheels.

Take a break, have a nice cup of coffee,

a walk, a deep breath, a bubble bath,

above all… be patient with yourself.

It takes time to learn to spread your

wings and fly.
