Persistent people wear comfortable

hiking boots because they know

they have to go to the end of the

trail. They don’t stop for blisters,

aching muscles, bad weather,

or other people. They might sit

down and rest, but they never give up.

If you know where you are going,

even if it is vague, getting there

requires that you keep going even

when you don’t know what to do next.

Be patient and what to do next will

come to you. If you sit down and

try nothing at all, you will surly fail.

If you keep trying, you may fail from

time to time, but you now have a

chance to succeed. Your goals are

worth it, you are worth it!

Be committed, and take consistent

action. Put one foot in front of the

other and keep going. Think of a

time in your life when persistence

paid off. Remember how good it felt.

Remind yourself that you do know

how to be persistent. Put on those

hiking boots and get going!
